All right, y'all.  You knew it was coming.

As I wrote to [info]thisissirius :

You know what I think? I think we should have a Colin Morgan festival. On my journal. Where everybody comes and tells me everything they ever learned about Colin Morgan. Because that's what I do when I have a crush on someone- I become a total freak and want to know everything about them right down to the last freckle.


So gather round me, pretties, and tell me every little thing.  Illustrate it, as my economics professor used to say, verbally and diagramatically. 

In other words, EARSPAM PLEASE.

HEAVY ON THE PICSPAM, OKAY

SO THIS ONE TIME THERE WAS A GUY:



He was in some show I liked called MERLIN, whatever that was. So I thought, HEY! Let's watch and episode. AND THERE HE WAS:



I thought, yeah, he's cute. BUt you know what? I've seen cuter. THEN. There was this other dude called Bradley and the two of them were AWESOME but it made me notice JUST HOW AWESOME COLIN WAS.



AND THE



MORE I



WATCHED. THE MORE



I FELL



IN LOVE.



THEN HE GOT NAKED.



AND MET A DRAGON



And I knew I couldn't let this one go. So I heard this one time that he was appearing at a convention, right? I couldn't let him escape so I thought, what the heck and went along. I was starting to get ridiculously in love with this boy. LIKE MY LOVE KNOWS NO BOUNDS. SO.












He was amazing. He had a gorgeous accent and his eyes were so piercing and strong and he was witty (in that dark way of his ;)) and he seemed generally in awe of the people that had come to see him. I DON'T EVEN KNOW, OKAY. Anyway. He took the time to talk to everyone when he was signing autographs and he didn't stop SMILING once. It was amazing and I think he's totally down to earth and appreciative and still finds it amazing that so many people adore him.



ALSO HE TOUCHED ME.


He won an award. Which he thoroughly deserved.


He's sexy when he drinks. HIS WRISTS, OMG.

Sooo, All About My Mother was several different kinds of incredibly awesome, but I PAID NO ATTENTION TO COLIN. Except in a kind of 'This is your line" sort of way. ^_^

BUT I remmeber thinking that he was skinny and gorgeous, and there are pictures of him from the programme on my journal, should you be interested. If you are, I can link you!

I was too far away to notice The Ears. I'm so sorry. I fail as a stalker...

Oh no, don't you worry. Failing as a stalker is something we should all aspire to.

Besides, ears are FAR from the only thing to like about Colin. There's, you know, skin and hands and feet and dimples and things too. And acting, yes, that acting thing I've heard rumors about.

Colin is too young for me but that does not stop me oggling. It's funny but when I first started watching I was all about Arthur/Bradley but somewhere along the way, I don't even know when it happened, I realised I was totally in love with Colin

SO. My report following [info]thisissirius is going to look quite lame but whatever, teacher's pet!

I originally watched the show because I was lured in by some song-videos that somebody did. Then somebody linked me to the Catherine Tate episode he was in, and I was hooked.




At first I thought, sweet jesus, why did they make Merlin a little boy? Then I realized he was a bit older than I thought he was, and THEN all of a sudden it was BAM COLIN MORGAN IS SEXY.

And I felt wrong.

But not that wrong.

Okay, so my love of Colin was a slow growing thing (avoids the wart analogy because that's just ICKY) - at first I was blinded by the Royal Prince Prat, Arthur, but as the series went on, Colin started to creep under my skin until they were both under there, wriggling about. Heh - the images.

Sooo, it was about here when I went, OMG - COLIN.



So then I had to go back and see the other eps for the Colin love for myself...

OMG, this is AMAZING. I can't contribute any more pictures, but I'll share what I've learned about Colin Morgan:

- He reads Terry Pratchett.
- He seems to take acting very seriously.
- His birthday is on New Year's Day.
- He's a vegetarian.
- He cleans up *really* well for formal events and actually makes a popped collar work.
- He has a dark sense of humor, according to Bradley James.
- He has absolutely *sinful* lips.

And I would also like to know the location of each and every one of his freckles.

I love that Bradley is being all HI I AM SRS BZNS PRINCE ARTHUR in this picture, like he's got even the tiniest bit of dignity. I've never felt the burning drive to stalk (in a loving and friendly manner!) an actor before I stumbled upon Colin Morgan, and now everyday something new feeds my addiction. When I read about his love for Terry Pratchett and Samuel Beckett I knew there was no shaking this one.

Haven't seen it mentioned yet but he's finished filming his first movie The Sea Change. He plays Calum, and if anyone could pull off this difficult character it would be him. Pictures of Colin during filming:

Yeah, I'm generally like "Hahahaha, oh actors." When I was much younger, like middle-school-awkward time period, I know I had a crush on an actor or two, but even then I thought this is probably really uncool. I don't think I'd want to meet any particular actor or actress now...

And then along came Colin Morgan. So, yeah.

These are lovely pictures, thank you so much for adding them to the bunch. I can't wait to see this movie, if we'll even get it over here. And on a shallower note (if you can get much shallower than I am, which is doubtful), I really like his hair that way.

This is one super-talented, gorgeous boy-man-thing.

He has one of those faces that is timeless. He could be out of the early silent films - there's something Chaplinesque about him. At the same time he is absolutely 21st century. He's both a character actor and leading man material.

My bet is he'll end up a global A-list actor. Do you think they'll let him keep the ears?!
